Home shirt as worn when Alan Shearer reversed his decision to retire and returned in a player-coach capacity in 2005–06. He scored 10 goals in 32 league games before tearing a knee ligament during a 4–1 win at Sunderland in which he scored his 206th and final goal in 395 appearances for Newcastle. He had previously broken Jackie Milburn's 49-year-old record of 200 goals for Newcastle (not including his 38 World War II Wartime League goals) when he netted his 201st against Portsmouth.
