Home shirt was worn by the former Soviet Union in their last, 1988, UEFA Euro campaign in Germany. It has a dynamic chevron pattern made up of graduated red shapes on a white background. The CCCP on the chest is the abbreviation in Russian for the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, which finally collapsed in 1991. The Soviet Union topped their group in the competition and beat Italy 2-0 in the semi-final to reach the final where they lost 2-0 to the Netherlands, despite having beaten them 1-0 in the group stages. This shirt was worn when they beat England 3-1. As worn by players such as Vasyl Rats, Oleh Protasov, Sergei Aleinikov, Oleksiy Mykhaylychenko and Oleh Kuznetsov.
